My Approach
Who I Work With
I work with adults — individuals, couples, and moresomes — across the spectrums of:
Gender identity and expression
Sexual orientation and identity
Relationship structures, both traditional and nontraditional
I especially love supporting:
Queer, trans, and nonbinary folks
Fat folks and individuals interested in body liberation
Kinky and ethically nonmonogamous people
Sex workers (current or former)
Fellow therapists, creatives, and healers
Please note: I do not offer therapy from a porn/sex addiction model or from conversion-based models. I may not be the best fit for you if a primary therapy goal is to use therapy to try to lose weight.
What I Help With
Sexuality, Embodiment, and Relationship Issues:
Libido, arousal, desire, orgasm, and other function issues
Relationship to erotic and sexual pleasure, and pleasure in general
Sexual pain
Compulsive or out-of-control sexual behavior
Gender-affirming transition needs and care
Navigating polyamory and nonmonogamy
Kink, BDSM, and fetish exploration
Communication and intimacy challenges
Sexual identity and orientation questions
Asexuality, aromanticism, repulsion, and obligation
Deconstructing compulsory sexuality
Healing from sexual and gender-based trauma
I also bring specialized experience working with:
Sex workers and folks in the sex industry
Survivors of sexual and intimate partner violence
Body Work & Liberation:
I support clients in healing their relationships with food, movement, body image, and embodiment—and how these experiences intersect with sexuality and self-worth. I offer this work from a counter-cultural and anti-diet approach.
Modalities & Frameworks
My practice is informed by feminist therapy, queer theory, anti-oppressive practice, narrative therapy, trauma informed care, acceptance and commitment therapy, and parts work. My practice is also deeply informed by Health at Every Size®, Intuitive Eating, and Body Trust®. I utilize EMDR for trauma work as needed.
