Education, Training & Professional Background

My work as a therapist in private practice is informed by my broader experience in the field. I also work as a mental health therapist at Quest Center for Integrative Health, and as an adjunct instructor at Portland State University, where I teach Human Sexuality, Women’s Reproductive Health, and Maternal & Child Health.

I hold a BA in Peace & Conflict Studies from UC Berkeley and both an MPH and MSW from Portland State University. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon and an approved supervisor for CSWAs.

In terms of advanced training:

• I hold a Sex Therapy Certificate from the California Institute of Integral Studies

• I am a Certified Sex Therapist through AASECT

• I have completed core EMDR training and integrate EMDR when appropriate in trauma work

• I am a Certified Body Trust® Provider and continue to deepen my practice in weight-inclusive, fat-liberationist, and trauma-informed care
